The University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia, has built its successful research reputation by focusing on Research Strengths. It has created a research environment that is multidisciplinary, focussed on outcomes to real world problems and is underpinned by strong international partnerships.
UOW is recognised internationally for research excellence. In 2011, UOW was ranked in the top 2% of research universities world wide (Times Higher Education World University Rankings).
